Kings Heath Pet Centre is a family run business that has been based upon a love for domestic animals.
All staff are qualified or training in animal welfare and specialise in all main animal groups, their aim is to give a personal shopping experience to every customer.

Originaly only a small pet shop, the store has moved from strength to strength over the last few years and is now based in a much larger premises just off Kings Heath high street.
A pet store has been achieved that is not only competitive with larger chain stores but has managed to keep the essence of a small family business. Owner Gary says "The aim of the store was to create a natural environment where people can come visit the animals and share their loves and experiences for them".

The shop now supplies most specialist products off the shelf in store and is an essential visit for breeders and other enthusiasts, carrying one of the largest accessory and food ranges in Birmingham.

THIS MONTH

Autumn is here so we need to start getting ready for winter. At the start of Autumn many wild bird birds that have visited us for the summer wiill need to build up their fat reserves to see them through their migration to their winter places in the Mediterranean and Africa.

We now carry an even wider range of wild bird seeds so you can attract all kinds of different species of birds to your garden.

Rabbit Hutches
Start thinking about how you are going to protect your hutch from the nasty winter weather which we will no doubt arrive when we least expect it. If possible treat your hutch with a safe water based treatment, or hutch covers are available for most hutches, ask in store.
Guinea Pigs are not well suited to our cold winters so we reccommend some shelter is sought for the winter but still allow access to sunlight and fresh air.
